Tourist guide
The French Riviera is full of activities to try: water sports, hiking in the Estérel massif, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, golf, leisure centres, aquariums and amusement parks for children, a chance to discover France's most beautiful villages and Mediterranean gastronomy...
Cannes
- Le Suquet: Cannes' oldest district, offers a panoramic view over the entire bay.
- La promenade de la Croisette: lined with palm and pine trees, it runs alongside both the long sandy beaches and the many luxury hotels and palaces.
- Le Vieux Port: the old harbour. An emblematic site of the city that tells its history as a fishing village. Today it has become a marina with colourful facades. You'll love the sights! 🤩
- The Lérins Islands: Facing the Vieux Port, the islands of Sainte Marguerite and Saint Honorat combine history and hiking, heritage and breathtaking views.
Nice
- La Promenade des Anglais: A 7km avenue lined with palm trees and luxury hotels and running alongside the Baie des Anges, it stretches from the Colline du Château to Nice Airport. Ideal for sporty mornings (jogging, segway, skateboarding, rollerblading,...)
- Old Nice: colourful, shaded alleyways, Place du Palais de la Justice, Place Rossetti, Sainte-Réparate Cathedral,...
- The cours Saleya market: a Provencal market where local produce and flower bouquets intermingle. The scents that emanate from it will sweep you off your feet!
- The Matisse Museum: A site with the "Musée de France" label, this museum allows you to learn about the life of Henri Matisse, through his sculptures, engravings, drawings, and of course his paintings.
Monaco
- Le Rocher de Monaco: The city's must-see, as much for the beauty of the view and the authenticity of the houses as for the history of its ramparts.
- The Prince's Palace: The Palace overlooks the Mediterranean and has an extremely rich history to share with visitors. Also come and witness the changing of the Carabinieri.
- The Exotic Garden: More than 900 floral species that promise you a magnificent bucolic stroll.
- The Oceanographic Museum: Take a deep breath of oxygen and dive into the heart of the museum's huge aquarium, bringing together more than 6,000 marine species (animal and plant). Right in the middle of the museum, you can admire the Lagoon, a fully reconstructed coral reef. So, are you ready to take a dip?
